A Little Peek

The girls at Vintaj loved the transparency of the baby I had done a few months ago, so here's a peek at the one I did for them to take to CHA.

The metal on the sides is tape used in duct work run through the Cuttlebug. Thanks to Kelsey who reminded me of this neat trick. You accent with acrylic paint and rub off to give a very vintage look.

Sun is shining here today...a good day to make art!

I love the goodies, but I am trying to keep my resolution to not buy anything new this year unless it is for a very specific purpose!

Can you tell me how you made the transparency? I am working on a valentine fat book, and I want to include something like that in it!

Shirley McCutcheon is the wizard here. She gave a great tutorial in Somerset on this. I just printed an old scanned photo on a blank transparency you can buy. It has a rough back and smooth front. Ink jet printers work with this..make sure if that's the kind of printer you have that it is this kind on the package. Papers behind the transparency give the other effects.
